Default New 14-3 added to collection!

I know how much you guys like pictures of new acquisitions so I thought I would share a few photos of a virtually new in box model 14-3 that I recently received from a fellow Forum member Whyco. Bill is selling off a large collection of guns that he and his Dad bought back in the late 70's through 80's. He has some really good stuff and you couldn't ask for a nicer person to deal with so keep your eyes on the For Sale section.

What I bought is this nice 14-3 which looks unfired complete with correct blue box and tool kit with brass ferules as well as all the paperwork. Super large S&W logo on the side plate and great colors in the case hardening. Thanks for looking, Bob

And how about that logo......

Very nice,

Is it just me or does seem like the 14's are coming up a little more lately?

Nice find. I like the model 14's and have a couple 14-3's, they seem to turn up more often for me.

Congratulations on the purchase as it's a beauty. I've felt that 14's were under valued for a while and that they just now seem to be moving up. The are wonderful shooters and worth every penny.
