new 15-3
I hate to keep posting about this toy, but I am really proud to have it. Is the white lettering on this a factory feature?

Mine model 10-10 revolver has white lettering as well, maybe they were produced during a similar time when this was common.

Highlighting the lettering (especially for photos) by use of crayon or painted filler (think 'nail polish') was a popular practice in some areas but as far as I know done after they left the factory.

My model 15- snubby will shoot 6 shots in 1 inch at 15 yards. It's a fine gun. Good choice!

+1 It also seems to follow certain models. Seems like EVERY Glock has a 'crayon slide.'

I forget the name of the stuff but it was powder and it came in gold and silver. The kit also included a liquid to clean the gun first as well as set the powder in the lettering. I used it on some pieces but soon found out it flaked off and did not appreciably improve the look of the gun.
This was in the early/mid 70s.
