Default New acquisition, Model 40

Just took delivery of this very nice looking revolver. Everything is original. Grips are numbered to the frame. Still has the grip safety lock out pin. Finish looks to be about 85% or so. Bore is nice and shiny. No box or docs. Just a slight hint of bluing loss at tip of muzzle. I'm not sure what's up with the trigger. Can't tell if it has been replaced or plated. Should be case colored.

Not sure of DOM but probably mid 60's. This will make a nice stable mate for my Model 49's

Not mid '60s.

It's a 4-screw so mid-'50s is closer.

Congratulations. It's a dandy!
