Unknown sights on a fixed sight S&W
Any of you ever see these? Seem like they're a good idea, looks easy to mount without permanently changing anything. What are they, and where do you think you could find them now? These pictures came from a gun on Gunbroker right now.

That's the Wonder Sight. Saw them in the 1950s and early 1960s.

A solution to an uncommon need these days, but still a neat "vintage" item!
These days not many people are looking to add sights to a 5-screw M&P........could be neat for a beater Victory model......

That's fascinating, can't believe I've never seen one of these before. I guess in a way it is a little useless, if you want an adjustable sight revolver seems like it'd make more sense to trade or sell your fixed sight one. Looking at their sight I guess you do have to drill into the frame to mount the sight, and I'm not about to do that to mine.

It uses the top sideplate screw hole for mounting on a 5-screw gun; you would have to drill a hole in any later model.

I have one on a converted .455 HE 2nd Model. It is much easier to pick up in low light than the original groove.

Hmmmm....Anyone used one of these on a new model 22-4? I have one with an SDM gold bead front sight that is too tall for the sight picture I prefer. Might be an option for me. Antone have pics of one on their revolver?

I put one on a 1917 years ago. I liked the sight picture but I went from a fixed sight revolver that shot dead on to a revolver with adjustable sights that shot high no matter what I did. After twenty or thirty shots I took it off and stashed it back somewhere never to be seen again. I hope you have better luck.
