Default Need Info on 1978 Model 66

This might be like searching for the needle in the haystack, but here goes. The Standard Catalogue of S&W book mentions variations on the top of page 229 that a special order of 10 had their serial numbers posted in the SWCA Journal, 25th Aniv reprint, book 2 pg 448. Does anyone have that book, or know the serial numbers of those 10? I have a Mod 66 with 6 1/8" barrel from that era and it is highly polished and was wondering................

Wow. No response at all. I wonder if I should have posted this in a different section.

The book just says a small group was made in the 70s. It don't say anything about serial numbers or how many a small group is. It does say they are worth a 20% premium.
It's such a small difference and with few made it's possible that the people that have them don't realize it. MHO.

Well, there are a few SWCA members around here. I'll bet Roy Jinks could find that out, if he isn't too busy.
