Need info on my 29-2 revolver
Looking for information on when my 29-2 revolver was manufactored. Nickel 6" barrel. Serial #663758. Any help would be very appreciated!

Most likely 1979. Does the box shown with the gun have an end label with its serial number. Your revolver should be a 29-2 that was shipped with a mahogany presentation case.

Are you neglecting the N serial prefix? All 29-2s have either an S or an N prefix. That may not be the correct serial if there is no letter prefix.

Does have an N and not the orignal box
It does have an N prior to the serial number. The box I recieved with it serial number doesn't match. Would there be any chance on finding an original wood case for it?

The correct case for your revolver has it pointing to the right with the accessories contained in a compartment below it. Forum member Joe Cebull (jcelect) may have one for sale as he was reducing his case collection a couple of weeks ago.
If he doesn't have the correct case, you can probably find one on ebay, but it will have to be relined, as the lining in these cases deteriorated rapidly.
