price check- 29-3 silhouette
95% gun, no major finish flaws, but some slight overall wear. $700 out the door. Opinions please.
Thanks, Pete

Probably just about correct. I'd of course try to get it for $650, but wouldn't haggle very long.

Then I will pass.
I am saving for a 19 with patridge, but I could get sidetracked for an absolute steal.
Thanks, Pete

You didn't mention barrel length but my limited experience buying and then selling one with the adjustable front sight is that they aren't all that popular and they sell for sightly less then a regularly configured revolver. However some dealers on Gunbroker say they are very special and rare and try to get top dollar for them.
I think the price you qouted is fair and $650 would be better.

thanks for the input
Barrel length 10.5 aprox. I googled it and came up with a number of them that had all sold under $700. I guess as n-frames go that is actually one of the less in demand models. I read that it being unpinned and un-recessed it was considered a quality downgrade. It's not a configuration I would have been looking for, but I was a little surprised to see a clean n-frame in a factory specialty configuration for under a grand. As has been noted on another thread, n-frame prices can get crazy.

If you ever shoot one, you will fall in love.
They are dead-nuts accurate.
