Default Model 29-2

Hi all... I stopped by my local gun shop today and saw a good condition 4 in. model 29-2 with smooth wood grips. The serial # is S316334. Can someone please give me a little info such as when the gun was made and what would be a good purchase price. The shop is asking $650.00

Thanks in advance

You are in the wrong section, but if it is in good condition and a true S Serial Number not a N serial number you should try to buy 10 of them at that price..Blue book puts it at 1300 plus!!!

I would wait outside the door in the morning...offer 600...maybe get lucky...but 650 is a STEAL TIMES 2....In my opinion.

Gun dates late 1968 to Early 1969. Sure hope you can get it!!!

Buy it. You can own it for years and make a lot of money plus own a live of history. As I recall, S serial -2 are somewhat rare.

The 29-2 was most likely shipped in mid-1969.
