Default Pawn Shop Rescue

This afternoon my son and I visited several local gun shops and pawn shops..the first few holes were empty..either nothing or over priced junk. Then we went to Sally's...they had this model 28-2 in need of TLC.

After 2 more shops of wildly over priced S&W's..I returned to Sally's and asked what was there best cash price....ended up walking out with a model 28-2 for $400.

Range report in the morning,,,

I recently purchased a 28-2 that was cosmetically challenged (not too bad, mostly on the cylinder) but locked up great and shoots very well. I stripped the blue off the cylinder, and used blue wonder to reblue the cylinder. It looks fine for a carry gun shooter and shoots and has the trigger pulls of a quality S&W N frame. I paid less than you by a little and have no complaints. Lets not even discuss what you can buy new for $350-400.
