Can anyone tell me what year my Mod 15-8, with marking 38 SPL S&W Special CTG on the 4"barrel, serial number 1K11587 was manufactured. Any idea of the value

With the SN you cite, its probably a 15-3. For value, we need pics.

That serial number is 1970.
