I'm pretty sure you want to jump on that. The stocks alone can be sold for some decent money. Search the classifieds here for combats and you will see. As long as the usual used revolver checks are good, that isn't a stellar price tag, but wearing those money stocks it isn't a bad price either. You will get several guys that are still stuck in the past to tell you it's a three to four hundred dollar gun, but I bet they won't sell you one for that.

S&W K and L round butt combat grips are $$. You could sell them for $125.00+ easy if you didn't like them.

You could look at it this way. A excellent Pin and Rec. Model 19 2.5 inch is worth $450-$475 in most parts of the USA. The combat grips are worth $125. So the combo is worth around $575 - $600(pushing it). $540 isn't a screaming bargin, but could be worth it if the "look of the gun" is special to a potential buyer.

I beg to differ. I shop 49 states (internet) daily and I don't see ANY excellent p&r'd 19 snubbies for that. You're about $150 off,IMO. If you see any more for $450-$475,please give me the info.

IMO, those grips are worth about $150 but,
correct round k Magnas will be about $50.
A 19-3 should have non diamond magna stocks .
A $450 19-3 snub Seems like a good deal if it is clean and your in the market
for a k magnum snub.

I may be wrong but if I see overhang on the back of those grips they may be N frame combats.K and L frame guns fit the same grips and N frames will fit with some rear overhang.

Sorry you missed out. My first new Smith was a 19-3 4" Blue. Used it for several years as a duty gun. When the finish started to fade I sent it to Smith for a refinish, changed it to nickle. Was always sorry. My second new Smith was a 19-3 2 1/2 blue. Still have it also. Recently got a chance to buy a minty 19-3 4" in blue to add to the collection. Two weeks later got a chance at another for way cheap. now I have two. Three if you count the original nickle. (Side note: the two recent additions are only 588 numbers apart.) Makes 9 K-frame magnums in the stable. Guess you could say I have a thing for K-frames (18 total) GB
