I have decided to get my CCW permit soon, but I realize that I do not own a good CCW handgun. My only handguns are an old Beretta 92F and my 28-2 HP, both of which are big and heavy. When I bought the 28-2 back in February I was actually in the act of purchasing a S&W 49 when I spotted the HP in the same case. Since I am currently a 40 year old broke college student, retraining after 16 years of driving 18-wheelers, saving up and buying another handgun is not an option right now. Textbooks are absolutely ridiculous in price!!!

Any thoughts or ideas from the members here are appreciated, since I can't decide what to do yet.
