In case anyone else is interested in buying a set of the new Smith & Wesson logo synthetic grips, the part number for a round-butt frame (such as my Model 64) is 226620000, and the new phone number is 800 331-0852, extension 4125. The cost is $28.31 plus $6.50 shipping.

These are the grips which are currently shown on the Model 64 on the S&W web site. I know a lot of people don't seem to care for them, but I think that they are much better-looking than the Hogues or the Uncle Mike's. (Then, again, I do have excellent taste, as my wife will tell you! )

I received my grips (part number 226620000) and they were the same Uncle Mike's as came on my Model 64. After another phone call, and lengthy research by the parts department, it was determined that the part number for the new synthetic grips is 413860000. We shall see!
