Smile An October Two-Tone

Model 29-2 with a two-tone finish, N21000 range, shiped to Camfour, Inc. in Springfield, MA on October 10, 1972. The invoice lists the revolver as being made for Howard Gibson. I asked Roy Jinks about him, but he did not know anything about Mr. Gibson.

Neat. Doesn't look like Howard did a lot of (or any) shooting with that gun.

WOW!

How about a little history on how you happened upon such a thing?

I bought this 29-2 from a good friend of mine, Gary Garbrecht. He was a well known collector of 44 Magnums until the late 90s when he decided to change his focus an collect antique S&Ws like the New Model Number 3.

Gary and I had many good times at the S&WCA annual meetings and on the golf course.

Unfortunately, Gary passed away at the young age of 61 in 2005. I miss him and think of him often. He is one of the good friends I made by being a member in the S&WCA.
