Default S&W stainless

I have what appears to me to be a M&P stainless, 4 inch barrel, model 64-1, #1D27928. How do I tell what frame it is so I can get a good match on a leather holster.

Does it have a 'pencil' barrel? or the 'heavy' barrel. It might not make a big difference in all holsters, but some of the better boned ones will.

Good luck in your search, and welcome to the forum

A "pencil" for a barrel? How useful is that? I mean, I have heard of "fillin' 'em full of lead," but I had no idea. . . .

Where is Saxon Pig when you need him?

Since he is not here to make a big deal about this, I will.

STANDARD barrel or HEAVY barrel PLEASE. NOT "pencil" barrel.

Yeah! I thought of SP when I read this too! Anyone know where he's been? I haven't seen him pop up here for a while.
