Price range on used Model 28s, 6 " barrel
I've been perusing gunbroker, drooling over the Model 28-2s, and several of them have 80-85% finish, running between 200-300. Is this reasonable? I am unlikely to win them, but that is what I want my next gun to be.
Thoughts?

I have seen three 28s in the St Louis market over the last several months. All were about $500.

I agree with the above poster that shooter grade model 28's with 6 inch barrel are well worth the $400 asking price these days and any thing less then that is a deal.

Are these actually selling at between $200 and $ 300? I would be buying them, every one of them until I was tripping over them at that price. A good shooter grade"N" frame is easily worth that any day of the week! Kyle

None are selling at that price on gb, we would be buying them up! You can do a completed auction search to see what they are going for. Lucky to find one under or around $400.

My 28-2 in 85% was $375 in June. Since then, any I have seen are over $500. A 95% six incher that I saw in October at a pawn shop, with box only was priced at $650. I had to walk away.
