My wife's Christmas Present to Me, A NIC Model 27-2
I got a call from one of my local dealers, who said they received a new in case 6 inch Model 27-2 on consignment, and was wondering if I would be interested in it. My wife said if I wanted it, she would get it for me. I only have one other Model 27-2 revolver with a 3 1/2 inch barrel so I said why not. Due to NYS laws I (we) had to go through the registration process, so I was able to bring the gun home before the actual holiday. This gun is from the mid-70's, while the 3 1/2 gun pictured with it is from 1970. Giving the increased interest and value of Model 27's, I am glad to have been able to acquire this gun to add to my collection.

Nice, that's a beauty and the 27-2's are such works of art. I've got a 27-2 unfired, no goodies. Had to get a shooter to go along with it!
That is just in amazing shape!

WOW, what a beauty !
I have the 27-2 in 6", mines been shot many times but still looks great.
Lucky you with a wife like that.
I've been through three X's and nones ever gotten me a gun. But now after being single for the past 11 years, i've made up for that ------------- lol

I agree, and I would add the dealer for a total of 3 keepers.

That is great that you were able to purchase such a beautiful gun in the condition it is in. I just love it when guns in that condition surface and go to someone who appreciates what it is, and the 3.5 aint too shabby either.
