Default Tuned up M-57

I wanted to wring out all the accuracy the 57 has to offer. Plenty of work was done to get the 57 up to speed.
Set headspace, cylinder gap, smooth internal parts , lighten trigger pull, timing work, recut forcing cone, and inverted muzzle crown. The 57 is still a work in progress. So far after all the tweaking she is a tack driver. I did some shooting this morning. I skunked my buds that were shooting ticked out pythons.

You actually SHOOT that Beauty Queen? I'd never make it to the range. I'd spend entire days in the recliner, admiring it.

Yep the 57 is a shooter So far I have been shooting the hell out of this one.
The first pic is a old one. This is the 57 today. She has a new trigger and hammer group. That have been jeweled. The hammer and trigger that are the originals. Have exceptional case coloring. I'll either use them on another revolver or one day put them back on. They are too nice to beat up on the shooting range. Since this hammer and trigger required them to be drilled out. To have a delrin rod installed in them. That way they will always run true. The hammer & trigger are setup like a target revolver. I really did not want to drill up nice case colored triggers and hammers

What a beaut! Glad you're shooting it. I'm not much for safe/picture queens myself. I shoot em all then clean em real good, followed by a wax job or a coatof Militec-1. The .41 mag is my favorite round by far. Love the crowned barrel on yours. Had my forcing cone recut at around 12 k rounds and everything tightenend up by S&W. Money well spent as I used to take a few 100 yard shots at deer in my younger days. Has 45 deer to its name since I bought it in 76. What round/load are you using in it if you don't mind me asking?
