Man, that is still a mite high even with grips box and goodies, but not by much. I paid $400 for mine, but gun only.

Last year I paid $450 OTD for a LNIB 67 and felt I paid $50 too much....but it was the nicest I'd found recently...so bit the bullet and bought it.
I'd say $600 IS too high. Then Ya run into that old conundrum...They aint making them anymore.

I would negotiate with them and see where it takes you.
If it is a 67 no dash with the stainless rear sight blade, that is a plus.(first year version).
I just saw a brand new Classic Series 15 in my LGS for $ 875.00
In my opinion a fair price for that 67 would be in 475-525 range.
Just my .02 worth and good luck.

For a Model 67 with or without the stainless sights that's at least $150 to high with the stainless rear sight and $200 if it doesn't have the stainless rear sight.

I would think $400, to $450 tops, it is a nice revolver, but you can do better.

A mint 67 no dash with box recently sold for $685.00 on Gunbroker. Yes, you can look it up if you're a GB member.
It appears the stainless rear sights were only made for a very short time, thus bring a premium. Especially if it's LNIB.

If the revolver in question is to become a safe queen, then maybe the price is okay to maybe $100-150 too high. If it is an early no-dash, with the SS rear sight, then the price is only $50-100 too high.
There are nice 67's out there for $325 to around $375. They'll be no-box and probably won't have the original grips.
Beware the DAO ones used by LE's that have been re-converted to DA/SA by filing back the hammer notch into the DA/SA version. They'll cost a replacement hammer and some associated fitting to truly get it back to factory spec.
You'll not be happy to try to shoot a SS rear/SS front sight gun in the bright daylight. It's a gnarly, blinding experience. The blackened SS rear with the red ramp front makes a lot more sense for a 67 that will be carried or otherwise really used. My early 67 with the bright SS sight got retrofitted with the black rear; yes, I carefully stored the original sight.

Well that happens and somebody really wanted it bad but I bought a mint one for $450 with the box, numbered to the gun grips, box, paperwork, and tools.
The $685 price just goes to show that there are people out there that will pay for what they want because it's right there in front of them on an auction and all it takes is two buyers who really want the same item and you see a new high price set.

I'm sorry forgot to put in the post. The rear sights are stainless.

That particular auction seemingly turned into a "I REALLY want that and am willing to pay most anything". What turned the price into the stratospheric area is that more than ONE person had that same inclination at the same time.
There are more than just a tiny handful of NIB/near NIB 67's out there. Just have to be patient for one to come along.
