Grashorn grips in Australia :) -Better pics now!
Hi all,
I finally got around to getting a few sets of grips form Patrick.
I must say he was a pleasure to deal with! Emails all answered same day, grips picked and customised within 2 days. They took a few weeks to get here but it was well worth the wait!
I got a set for my 28-2, for my 4" Python and my round butt, flatlatch M12
PIcs below.....sorry they are only taken with phone tonight. I promise to get better ones when the sun comes out!
Cheers
Mike

Ok, here are some better pics from this morning. This is my first set of stag grips and they look amazing. Patrick has done an excelent job! I amsure this will be no surprise to you guys who already have these grips on your guns! The fit is near perfect. They fill my hand out better than the magnas that were on it and teh combination of blued steel, elk antler and CCH looks fantastic in the sun
If we were allowed to carry in Australia this would be my everyday gun. Its funny, I have some beautiful nickel 29s, a perfect 27-2 and a heap of others but I always prefer to shoot my 4" 28-2! Its very comfortable and looks as tough as nails!
Hope you like the new pics. They dont do Patrick's work justice!
Mike

That's a mighty fine looking 28 and the stags really round it out. The 28 is on my short list if I can find one at a reasonable price. Thanks for taking the time to share and post pics!

Mike, great pics, thanks for posting them. I've got four sets of Grashorns with lotsa bark, including an older set with lighter brown tones and clear plastic spacers. You have good taste in N-frames, too!

Thanks for sharing Mike. The grips look great on your beautiful shooters.
I've been in touch with Patrick to build grips for a pair of Colt New Frontier .22s. I especially like the look of stag grips with the cowboy revolvers. He is currently moving his shop to a different location. I'm anxious for him to get back in battery so he can start building again.
After seeing your guns, I may think about some of his bone white magna grips for a special nickel model 10.
