Smith&Wesson model 34-1
Can anyone help me date this fine little pistol?
SN#M152** Picked it up recent, looked to be not fired much. I dont need the value on it as I have no plans on letting it go, I would like to just know when it was made.
Thanks

M1 to M30000 were produced 1969-1971.
I examined one like yours at a shop yesterday and did not bring it home. I'll correct that error tomorrow.

That looks like the 1969-1971 range. I have that little guy's twin brother and shoot as well as any gun I have. It routinely beats my old K-22. Makes no sense at all.

That is a magnificent little 22/32 Kit gun. I have a Model 35, very similar except longer barrel

Thanks all! Took it out for a spin today, shoots better than a dream! even took some 35 yard shots just for laughs but the laugh was on me, rang a 10" plate regular. Accuracy is amazing
