dating model 36 help?
hey im new and i was wondering if anyone could help me date a model 36 no dash, snub with a 1 inch barrel, j frame. sn AAY02XX

It's not a 1" barrel, you measure from the front of the cylinder to the end of the muzzle. It's considered a 2" gun that nominally measures 1 7/8".
Your 36 was shipped in late 1982.
