I think I dislike you a lot, and that you should send the revolver to me as compensation for causing that psychic distress.

Wow, that's a beauty. All the 5 inchers I see have the Patridge sight- including mine. The ramp sight looks great.

Thats a beauty and the ramp site and non relieved targets seal the deal.
BTW, I have a 6" with the Baughman and love the look as well.
Have you had a chance to look inside them for any markings?
Inquiring minds need to know.

No, I haven't looked inside the grips for any markings-because I just got this M27 yesterday. I will be checking this out later-however, I kind of doubt that I'll find any markings on these target stocks-although, never say never? Thanks for the compliment!

Those target grips, hammer and trigger are a bonus, for sure. They were normally shipped with standard hammer, trigger and Magna stocks. From the markings on the end of the box, I would think you have a special order gun that shipped from the factory with the full target additions. Well done, beautiful gun.

Thanks for the great information. Your compliment is appreciated also. What sights would have come standard on a M27 4-screw with the 5" barrel? Or was it that the type of sights needed to be specified by the buyer?

You would normally specify the type of sight you want when you order it. That is a fine looking 27, and I would be surprised if they didn't become a habit!

1)Thanks!
2)Yes, I'm becoming addicted over this M27 and I'm sure gonna be on the hunt for more of these. However, they aren't getting any easier to find in mint condition.

Beautiful 27! I have never handled one. I do have a 28 no dash 6" from 1960. Great gun in my book! Got it for a good price, and is at 95% +.
Enjoy your 27! Bob

Standard sights were black rear sight blade and black front ramp on 5 inch guns and shorter. Black Patridge on barrels 6" and longer. Beginning in 1975 27's received the full target treatment shipping in wood presentation cases. Not sure if that included white outline and red ramp sights.
