Mod. 67 alot more exciting than my SIGMA
Just bought my first actual possibly "Collectible" a buddy called needing some cash and since I don't need another shotgun I went to look at the S & W .38. Went online and looked up a few things and jumped at the $300 price. It actually has a lot of numbers and symbols stamped on it ser. is 18K29xx mod.67 no-
across from the ser. on the swing out gate are several more numbers. It also came in original box with lots of original paperwork warr. blow up parts list and instructions etc. Would love to learn anything I can about it. Oh yeah original wood grips are in the box but has Pach style " Monogrip, Hogue grips on it. Any info. you guys may have would be appreciated. This is much cooler than my Sigma .40 bought new at the gun show lol

Congrats on the purchase and welcome.
I have a few 38 Specials but no model 67. All my 38's are a pleasure to shoot, I'm sure a 67 is just as fun. Some of the more experienced members can provide info for you.

Very nice. Your revolver was made in 1977 and $300 is a great deal (you basically got it at wholesale!).
This is a big step up from that boat anchor Sigma (known for the worst triggers ever).

67s are just "KEWL" as my grandkids say. Great gun, very accurate, a pleasure to shoot, very adequate defense revolver, easy to carry and classic S&W looks. This is one worth hanging onto.

Yes, it is! - and when you start shooting it, you'll think it is even "cooler."
I wouldn't call the Sigma too many bad names, but compared to your new revolver... well, it's not a fair comparison.

Welcome to the Forum! You are sure to like your new 67. I bought a 67 no dash last year for $375. If you are like me, I tend to shoot a revolver much better than a semi-auto, and at further distances. If you like the high gloss look, they really shine if you use Flitz, or Mother's Mag Wheel Polish. Enjoy your 67! Bob
