22 Long Rifle CTG Help
I have a 22 Long Rifle CTG handgun. I know very little about this. Last patent date is sept. 14 09. There is a number above the loading area of 7918. Barrel is 10" long? I can't seem to find mych info on this gun. It appears to have no serial number or hand grip may have been replaced.

Pictures would be a great help. You said loading area so is it a single action revolver?

Ahh, that is a very nice target pistol of some sort. I do not know much about these but I'm sure someone will.

Very nice. You have a third model single shot with non-factory grips. I have never seen a set with that extension covering the web of the hand. I suspect that the person who made them may have seen a European free pistol. Some of the third models had what is called an Olympic chamber. You can tell by chambering a 22LR cartridge; if it meets resistance before fully seating you have the short chamber designed for greater accuracy. The accuracy of a standard chamber is sufficiently spectacular.
Enjoy your scarce and desirable pistol. The serial number should be present on the front of the grip frame when you remove the grips.

btw, this thread should be in Antiques, where it will draw more responses ]
