Default Nickel 15

Traded the other day for a nickel Model 15 in 4", I believe its a 15-3. Were the many nichel 15's made? I do know back in the 70"s I hated nickel revolvers, now I have a new found respect for a not so common finish. The 15 I bought is absolutely beautiful, I rate it @ 95% plus. BK

Nobody knows how many of each particular variation was made on production guns. I have heard as a general rule around 10% of any model are nickel but that's just what I heard.

I like nickel and always have.

I posted the wrong pic. The OP was talking about a M15, and I posted a M57. Here is the M15 I was attempting to post.

Here is my nickle 15-3, circa 1975. Please forgive the grips. I'm still looking for what works for me. I hate to admit it though, those grips fit my hand well. For as good of a shooter as this gun is, I sure don't shoot it enough.
