I'm guessing around 1980 on the DOB, most likely Target
Stocks with the speedloader cut out.
I have a few around the same time frame.
Someone will jump in soon and give you more details

According to the SCSW, 1980 is correct. Not sure about the grips.

Correct grips would be the speed loader cut Goncalvo Alves target stocks like the ones on the far right.
Look for a pair with stainless steel washer inside.
Later versions had no metal washer inside but look the same on the outside.

I'll third that.
Does it have a small trademark on the left side, under the thumbpiece?

A trade mark is the factory logo, like the one that is (lightly) visible on the side plate of the gun at the top of the Forum homepage, between the hammer and trigger.

Some 19-4s had the Football cut out though, right?

Nothing is absolute withh S&W but IIRC the change from the 19-3 to the 19-4 occurred around 1977 in the 10K serial prefix with speed loader cut target grips first appearing around 1978 , according to my SCSW 1978 was in the 25K serial prefix.
Based on those numbers my guess is that early 19-4's probably did have football cut target grips then had either for a while then changed to speed loader cut grips when the old style was exhausted.
On a side note my lowest 19-4 is a nickel 4" in the 40K serial prefix and came with the speed loader cut grips pictured above
