19-2 grip question
I have a 6 inch 19-2 laid away. It is not a target hammer, trigger, patridge sight gun.
The DOB is 1967, and does not have the original grips.
Would the original grips most probably be K frame diamond magna grips?

I'd guess that it would have come originally w/ Diamond Target stocks

That it is not a 3 T gun is what has me sort of stumped. I can't find any thing solid to hang my hat on.
Thanks.

Here's something solid. VM is correct. Both of these mid-60's Model 19-2's are as they came from the factory.

The factory made 6" barrel 19s with both standard and target hammers and triggers. For example, it is unusual to see a 6" 19-3 with the 3Ts, or a standard 19-4. (Before the flood of photos, note I wrote "unusual", not never ).
