Asking for expert opinions
Hello all -- please help me out if you can. What is fair market value for a Model 15-3 nickel-plated Combat Masterpiece with a 2-inch barrel? It seems the snub-nose is unusual. Thanks for your expertise on this!

Condition will play a major role in it's value and you have not given enough info to give much of an opinion. Pictures would really help.
The M15 snub nose is not rare or unusual but we don't see as many nickel ones.
In excellent condition I'd say $400 to $450. With original box and goodies maybe $500 or so. MHO
Let me add, I'm not an expert.

Two bucks....my check is in the mail! Honestly though, what Bama said, maybe a touch more if it's a 99% gun in my area.

The snubby M15s are less common than their 4" barreled brethren; nickel makes it even less common still.
bamabiker is right, though, even in this configuration, it can't be called "rare", and without more facts about the gun (condition, box, papers, tools), it's near impossible to adequately advise.
Here are two recent threads on gun value, one for a blued 15 snubby, one for a nickeled 10; reading them should help you with how to think about valuation of your piece in the current market:

Most Model 15's are selling for around here for about $400 to $425 and a really clean nickel one would sell for more if it was in great condition and even better if has a box and the extra goodies.
