Default Back from the gunsmith

Earlier this month I picked up a 27-2 w/5"bbl. The gun was very ugly as at some point someone tried to give it a blue job, possibly gunkote. It looked to be very thick over the S&W emblem and on other places and had a couple of spots where the kote had chipped off.
Decieded to send it to the smith for a complete bead blast and blueing job. $150.00 forgot to get before pictures. Just went over today and picked it up and now looks a whole lot better than it did, Got a friend that wants the pachmayr grips and will trade me a set of target grips. should dress out real nice.

Looks good. It would make a great shooter as is but I would also have to change those rubbers to some wood.

It wasn't done by S&W, It was a local smith that did the job. He has done another blue job on a cylinder for me and does a right nice job.
