Default Sound Advice ? Early MOD.30

I found. At l.g.s. 6 shot .32 cal.round butt 2" Nickle bobbed hammer looks to be original nickle Numbers match = butt, yoke, cylinder, Round front sight!Has A set of black Tyler stocks with belt hook J frame! so they stick 1/4" below butt! The nickle is flaking At 3or4 of the cylinders At forcing cone & one spot on case cover. Nicked front sight &Above grips looks like its been dropped a few times in the last 60+ years! Good lock up! nice function overall! Just don't know if this the best collector piece? I do know there aren't many out there Is it worth having re finished? I Like J frames Never Had I frame! There asking 329 + 8% Tax + 5$ background check. Any opinion?

Mod 30's are not that rare that you would want to put a lot of money in it. If refinished it would lower the "collectable" value, and double your cost.

Are they similar to the Barmanni grips?
