Default My favorite gun show

It costs me money every time I go but I always find something good.

This time it is a 6” 19-2 from late 1964. I have been looking for one for a while but they always seem to be priced to high. This trip I find one for $500 that is unfired and as close to perfect as they come.

I’m going to feel guilty dropping this in a holster and taking it ground hog hunting, but I’ll get over it.

On a side note I also found an old Model 70 Winchester with a factory heavy barrel in .243 for $300. Someone had tried to bed it and the action no longer fit in the stock. It will make a good project and I’ll bet it will be a tack driver.

That 19-2 was a good deal. Nice catch.

That is a great buy on a beautiful gun. I have a couple of them and the bluing on them is fantastic! I wish I could find a 4" at a price like that.

Very nice find congrats.

Thats funny. I went to a gun show last Sunday to purchase a model 19-3 from a forum member and ended up buying a Winchester Model 70 as well. lol
