Md-17-2 with Cokes-They feel great!
I stopped by a local gun shop tonight on the way home and saw this 5 screw 38 M&P sitting behind the counter. Something looked rather odd. It was wearing a set of Coke stocks. I got the M&P home, removed them and put them on one of my shooter Md-17's. Who ever did the modification did a great job. I think it makes my shooter look great.
The "Donor" M&P minus the Cokes.
The " Recipient" Md-17-2

I always thought coke grips camw on N frame revolvers.
I wasn't aware there were cokes that fit K frames.

IMHO Cokes are N frame stocks and were never made for a K frame.

Can you post a photo of the (modified) insides? Interested to see how they were filled or otherwise changed to fit the K frame.

Nothing is changed on the inside - just the backstrap is reshaped (sanded) to fit the K/L frame.
It is an easy custom/modifion job
If you take a pair of your N frame targets and instll them on a K frame ...........you can easily see that wood that has to be removed to make the modification.
***Note to all***
I'm not suggesting any one ruin a pair of Cokes

That makes sense. I thought since the N grip frame is larger that material needed to be added to the stock cut outs so there is no wobble.

Just the out side dimensions are bigger, the frame width is the same.
