Default model 29-2, nickel

I just bought a model 29-2, 4 inch barrel, in nickel with the wood box that has the cut-outs for each tool and the gun. The serial number is N301430. Would anyone have an idea of about when it was manufactured? I have always wanted one these! I think I got a reasonable deal at $700.

Thanks!

First of all, welcome.

Your M29-2 was shipped in 1975-1976. I would say you got a great deal, depending on condition. I would not sell mine without the box for that.
By the way, you need to show off that M29-2 by posting some pics of it.

Welcome to the Forum from out in the Rockies, and congratulations on your 29-2. Sounds like a beauty, and +1 on JCS&W's comment on the great deal you got on this piece. Enjoy!

A bargain indeed, sweet. With that kind of luck, you should run out and buy a Powerball ticket...
