Welcome! They look very nice, and their value is based on whether they were factory engraved or by someone prominent. Someone here may recognize them as factory work. Do you have any idea of their history?

Thanks for posting-we all enjoy special guns. I'm thinking that the first one(pics 1 and 2) was done by someone prominent(and very talented) and is non factory.Appears to have a nice amount of silver wire inlay.
The Model 14 might be factory B level.
Sorry,I can't help with a value, other than to say the first is worth a multiple of the 14.

Factory engraved guns are easy to value because they sell at a known price. If you find the engraver you can inquire as to how much he charges for his work, with the understanding you may not be able to get full retail value for them. Collectors of non-factory engraved guns are relatively few.
If you know what you would like for these, the Wanted to Sell section is a good place to sell them, but again their history is important for determining their values.

Personally,I have no problem with aftermarket engraving. For me,it's all about the quality of the work, rather than the originality, and the chances of me encountering a factory treasure such as Doc44 owns, are pretty slim.
A lot of factory work does nothing for me.Obvious that no passion,or not the highest level of talent was applied.
I have mixed feelings about someone else's initials applied(my aftermarket engraved gun has them as well, along with silver wire inlay),however the execution of the rest of the gun is so nice,I can live with it.
I also have mixed feelings about a gun wearing the "Lady Smith" name.I'm sure that I'm not alone in that regard.
All that said,I think that's a great gun,and a work of art.
I would like to think the little gun could realize at least 2k,and the Model 14s,which I think are factory,1K.

I would put a lower value on the LAdy Smith, unless the prospective buyer shares the initials of the original owner or the original owner is a known personality.

Factory engraved guns of that era typically have the S&W logo on the left side of the frame, rather than on the sideplate. The engraving on those two looks like the factory style machine-assisted engraving, but I'd have to have a letter before I bet my money they are factory done. There are a number of non-factory engravers out there who do very similar work.

Maybe it is just me, but WHO puts ****** Goodyear's on their beautifully engraved S&W?? Look at the sad gal with common trash! This is just plain wrong to do! It is disrespectful of the gun and of the engraving to show it in this way. Yes, I know, just my opinion and everyone has one... Kyle

The pics seem to show really nice work on the J-frame. Thanks for sharing those with us. Very pretty little gun.
I am sorry but I can't help with value estimate either. I see prices on non-factory engraved S&Ws that are just all over the place. I think with those guns it will strictly be a matter of what someone is willing to pay for them. If they were mine I would list them on-line with a price that would make you happy if you got it, along with a note promising to consider "reasonable offers" from interested parties, and see if any activity develops.

The price on the original receipt of first 14 would reflect a plain Jane or factory engraved piece.Logo says aftemarket though.Something to be said for an identical pair of target 14s,I think.
I would remove the grips on the J frame, and look for initials, etc of the engraver. If found, that could aid in the value.A lot of work went into that one,and nice work at that.Tempting-my love of art takes over my dislike of Js and initials.
