My Most Accurate Revolver
I should say my most accurate center fire revolver. I've been shooting this 15-3 quite a bit and I am amazed at how dead accurate it is. S&W sure did it right when they built this one. I would like to see it in the hands of a real marksman, just to shoot, not to have.

Yes they are accurate.
Even the 2" ones are WAY more accurate than they have a right to be.

I have the original numbered magnas for it but these refinished K-Targets sure make it feel good.

I have never owned a S&W K frame target sight .38 that did not shoot well. And I've had a bunch of them, dating from the early 1950s to well into the 1970s. Both the 15s and the 14s I've had and shot were spot on and performed marvelously.
Great revolvers.

I have a pre-M15 that has a slightly bulged barrel. Still shoots like crazy. Far more accurate than I am these days.

That 15 looks just looks so tough. Nice pic.

That's funny! My M15 is my most accurate as well. Don't really know if it's inherently more accurate than some of my 6" models, but I sure shoot it the best!

I have a seat on the 15 bandwagon too! Been talking about it for quite a while now and it's the same ol' story because no matter how much I spend, nothing can touch it.
For the record, mine is a -3 also.

As 4" target sighted revolvers go, the Combat Masterpiece/Model 15 guns are the best, in my humble opinion. As a young Airman in Uncle Sam's Air Force, I looked forward to a day qualifying at the range. The Air Force was my introduction to these great guns. We fired good ammo, also. Always the good 148 grain wadcutter match ammo. The same stuff cost an unbelieveable price on todays market. I guess lack of demand has caused it to go through the roof.
That gun appears spotless in the photo. Nice picture and gun.
I'm in the market for a Model 15 right now. I'm looking for a 4 inch gun, but as someone mentioned the 2" version shoots well for such a short bbl.
