Recently had a unfortunate death in the family (what death isn`t unfortunate) and he has quite the lot of very nice firearms. Most are being sold but some, like this, are being kept in the family. Its a 29-2 Nickel Plate purchased in 79. I have the original box and all documentation including receipts.

There are a few minor pits in the metal, most around the cylinder, but nothing major.








Anyone want to see the Python he had too. Best of both worlds I need to send this back to Colt because someone jimmied with the V spring to make double action trigger pull smoother. Result, misfires in DA due to the hammer not striking the firing pin with enough force.

I must say that those presentation grips on the 29-2 are probably the nicest I've ever seen. The contrast in colours look awesome. Also, very nice pic's BTW.

Not shown is the wooden presentation case. The tab that covers the cleaning rod and other accessories was never even removed. Underneath is the bill of sale (1976), and warranty information card with serial number and place of purchase. My relative must have purchased it from the original buyer as the original buyers information is present in the case. The handgun was around 440 USD in 1976!
