I finally had a chance to take my new-to-me Model 19-3 to the shooting range. I have been working six days a week for twelve plus hours a day, so I desperately needed some Smith & Wesson therapy. The target stocks are a bit large for my (admittedly petite) hands, but I have an order with Keith Brown that will fix that. Below is my best target. It's six rounds slow fire (bullseye style) at 25 yards with factory American Eagle 158 grain LRN .38 Special. I still need to do a little sight adjusting, but the group measures 1.071 inches. Old fashioned? Perhaps. Out of date and unable to deliver the goods? I think not. These old gals still have the magic touch, and this one still has the original box, papers, and tools. Is it just me, or does shooting a Smith & Wesson revolver make you want more Smith & Wesson revolvers?
