25-2 Finally!
Yah, after searching for a very long time, what did I spy in a gun case. A LNIB 25-2. 6 inch barrel. No box, but if the gun has a box of ammo through it, I'd be stunned. A few very very minor handling marks. Very high grade shooter which is right in my wheelhouse. Mid 700's price. So home with me it goes.
Pictures soon.

This are great guns that are fun to shoot. I picked one up last weekend and got to the range this weekend. Seeing six rounds touching at 15 yards made me smile. It did not matter 230 ball,or 200 swc reloads this revolver was just shooting like a laser. Consistent with the performance of the 25-2 I had 25 years ago
You have some good shooting ahead..Enjoy you score!

That's an excellent price. I gave over $800 for mine two years ago. And, is is one of the funnest revolvers I shoot, that and my 32 SWL one's.

Good going, Don't let it set any longer get out and shoot it. These revolvers shoot too well for so many to be hiding inside of safes

Be careful, I bought one, then immediately bought another. They are magnificent. I'm shooting mostly 200 gr swc loaded in auto rim cases.

Got one from a SWF member last year. My 'grail gun'.
Actually shoots too good. It thinks it's a rifle.
Enjoy!

I looked for a 25-2 for about four years and never did find one. I saw a bunch of 25- something in 45 Colt, but I wanted a 45 ACP model.
Well, I eventually ended up getting a Performance Center 625-8 and really like it.
Someday I might purchase a 25-2, if I actually find one!

Great revolver! I shelled out $799 plus tax for my 25-2 with 6.5 inch barrel in 98% condition last November. More than I wanted to spend, but it was the first clean one I'd come across in several years.
Let's see some pictures!!

My 25-2
Saw this post & thought might share mine. Picked it up in 81 at Ohio Gun Collector's Quarterly Show. Started its life as a 55 Target according to papers, however box just says custom. Thought it might have been an early Effector, but no markings, does have the ball bearing latch in the frame. Shoots good...target is 24 rounds from the 15 yard line although before I had cataract surgery. Ken

Okay, sorry this took so long, but camera was busted
Gun is hugely accurate and a pleasure to shoot.
