I recently acquired a 4" Highway Patrolman. The Serial Number starts with an 'N'. There are also Patrolman's that have Serial Numbers that start with an 'S', and it seems the 'S' guns are more desirable.
Why are the 'S' guns more desirable? Is it just an originality/old-school thing, or are there manufacturing differences?
I am just wondering.
I love the one I have, it has a few spots and a little wear on it (Like me), but the thing locks up like a vault, and the trigger is smoother than ball-bearings on ice.
