Default Smith and Wesson 66-1 year manufactured
I have a S&W model 66-1 with a 4 inch barrel. I would like to find out what year it was manufactured and when it was discontinued if possible. Serial# is 111K719. Thanks for any info.

Welcome to the Forum.
Your stainless Combat Magnum was made sometime in 1981.
The M66 was discontinued in 2004.

I have one also and from my research the 66-1 was the last year of the pinned barrel and recessed cylinders.
