Default 66-1, 2 1/2" Barrel Value

Hey everyone. I tried to search on here, but came up empty.
Have an opportunity on a 66-1 with 2.5" barrel. Comes with original box. Pics do not even show a turn line on the cyliner. Original grips on the gun.
What would you say the current market price on this is?
Thanks a lot!

This may sound kind of silly, but what is a p&r gun?

Did you check the 'closed' auctions on the internet sites like Gunbroker?

I'd think $500 to 550ish would be great and anything under $750 is probably acceptable.

Recessed cylinder.

Pinned barrel.

I sold my S&W 66-2 snubbie for $650.00 on St. Patrick's Day. No box or papers, but included a Bianchi Shadow 8L holster.

Since prices vary in different parts of the country, I can only speak to what the prices are in my area. I would expect to see a prices range from a low of $600, to a high of $725, depending on condition and accessories. Good luck.
