Default recent acquisition: 27-2 8-3/8" w/ RR front sight

Finally snagged a nice condition 27-2 with an 8 3/8" barrel for my collection. This one has a red ramp front sight. Early N-prefix. Magna grips number to the gun; it came with a set of Targets as well.

Beauitful revolver & great package! I have wanted a long barrel revolver, just haven't lucked into one yet. Congrats on your find!

Beautiful gun. They could be special ordered with any or all of the 3Ts (target hammer, target trigger, target stocks) up until 1975 when the 3Ts became standard. I have it's twin in an S prefix, with the 3Ts from 1966:

Nice I like the 4", 5", 6", 6 1/2" & 8 3/8" barreled n frames.

It was a post of yours a while back that reminded me to start looking again for a long-barreled 27!
