Did S&W manufacture a Model 14 with recessed cylinders?

Nope. Only the K22 and the Magnum cartridges, .357, .44 and .41, were recessed. Recessed cylinders in the magnums phased out around 1980 or so and only the .22s are recessed today.

Actually recessed cylinders ended in 1982 but S&W used all of the parts they had s0 some carried over into 1983 with some being what is called transition revolvers because they can be pinned and not recessed or recessed and the barrels not pinned.
