price check S&W 57 no dash
Dear members, what woulbe a fair price for a S&W 57 no dash 4" Bbl w/Diamond magnas in excellent condition no box or papers? this gun has a factory Patridge front sight, never seen that before. thank You

That is an odd one. I'm curious to see what the experts say. I would expect it to have target stocks and a red ramp front sight.

S&W 57
Members the Serial# starts with N I think it's 1975. Maybe a special order with the Diamond Magnas and the Patridge front sight?

the grips will not be original. the diamond was eliminated in the late 1960's, 1966 I believe.
The patridge sight is probably a modification also

1975 is too new for diamond magnas. The diamond went away around 1968.

That SN would put it from 1970, possibly 1971. So diamond magnas should not (but never say never) be original. There may be a SN stamped on the inside of the right grip panel.
