Finally Got My 15-3 Snub Nose
I've been wanting one for a while and thought about a couple blue models that I ran across. However, this one came my way and I could not resist. It took some Simichrome work and new (old) wood and we will see what happens at the range. The grips are obviously older than the gun, but they do add some class to the whole package.
15-3 nickel 2" revolver.

Congratulations! You are going to love that one. I found one just like it only without the fantastic grips. I have several snubbies but this is fast becoming my favorite. Great pics and enjoy.

Beautiful gun. I particularly like the grips and the red ramp sight, is it factory?

Don't know about the RR/WO sights. Just posted on another thread on the same subject.

Congratulations on your new addition. I've got the blued version and someone on the forum best described it as "a two inch that shoots like a four". The 15 snub is a lot of fun and a lot of gun for the money.

It certainly looks wonderful as it is! Some people get too hung up on correct era grips. You can change them in 2 minutes. Enjoy it! Bob

The 2" barrel that shoots like a 4" barrel. I fell in love with mine.
My next door neighbor just had these grips laying around and thought they would look good on it. I can't say who made them but I think they look sweet on it.
What do you think?

You know? When I was a younger man I had no use for a nickel finish. The older I get, the more I find myself liking them. Yours is quite fine.

You did a great job cleaning that one up! Looks fabulous. Can't say that I've ever seen one with the RR/WO,but I know I ain't seen 'em all. Could be special order or replacements. Any way you look at it,it looks VERY nice. Like the diamonds too!

So where'd you find that one? She's a looker! I'm betting the sights are factory. They could be ordered that way you know. Standard sights were blued rear, no outline and nickeled front. That's the way my 15-3 4" is set up. I'll post some post clean up pics of it on my original thread once I get some decent pics. Hard to get when they're so shiny!!

I get the impression you were there fat tom and saw the gun before my cleaning. I have PC magnas on it now and I am liking it more and more. Still no range time, but that will be remedied soon. Will report.

Nice, my guess is they are shortened and recontoured SB Target stocks (larger cutout on the left panel).
