Model 13-3 manufacture year/info
I am buying a model 13-3 from a friend's wife who was a PO for the feds out of NY. It is in great condition with only normal holster wear. I'd like to know the year of manufacture and any other info that can be obtained in this forum.
ON the yoke the is a "T2" marking plus the numbers "11731"
Serial # on the butt is AYE1708
3" bbl

The time frame of manufacture would be first quarter of 1988.
The markings on the yoke were used in the factory during assembly and have no further meaning.
It should have a round butt to go with the 3" barrel. Very popular these days. Depending on exact condition, I would guess the price range would be $500 to $700.

I recently bought one. They shoot great. You'll really enjoy it. Does it have the box and papers? That can affect the price.

No bx and no papers. 95% finish. Came with a fanny pouch and a nice hip holster for $340. Thanks for the manufacture date.
