Default Pawn Shop rescue 14 -3

I was tipped off to a Model 14 -3 in a local pawn shop and was able to bring it back to a loving home.
A few freckles, a couple scratches, a little stiff and dry, with some ugly Goodyear's.
I took it home, knocked the side plate off, poured in some oil, wiped it down a few times, and added some period correct aftermarket stocks.
I couldn't be happier with this fine shooter for the nice price.
Shown with a 40yard offhand target from today's range trip.
I only shoot 5 rounds per cylinder so 10 holes in the paper is correct.
I have No idea how the one shot ended up in orbit
It couldn't have possibly been the loose nut behind the trigger.

It makes me feel kinda sad for the current crop of shooters that only knows plastic fantastic Tupperware guns at 10 yards.

Bless you, kind sir, for giving that poor, starved orphan a home, disregarding you own needs! Yours is a noble, unselfish spirit.

By the way, I hope the pawnbroker took at least a small beating on the deal.

Great job! I bought my 1st 14-3 a few months ago. 1977 ship. Clean gun from G.B. for $400. Very nice! Enjoy your 14! I have not tried shooting mine past 25 yds. yet. Bob

I'm glad it found a home where someone knows what's up with revolvers and marksmanship.
