Default K-22 pinned front sight

Does anyone know when or on what model of 22 long rifle revolver that smith/wesson used pinned front sights on 6inch barrels?
The barrel I have is stamped 22 long rifle. I believe it is from a k-22.

Thanks

Frank

Frank, I have a K-22 Masterpiece K 206545, 6", shipped May 1954.
The front sight and base are all one piece. Its pinned to the rib by a small diameter pin, domed on both ends. Thats all I got. Mike 2796

Thanks Mike,
I think that my spare barrel was made around that time.

Here is a photo of a 6" K-22 shipped 1955. It has a pinned front sight with red insert. I can not confirm that it shipped that way.

K 22's were normally shipped with a Patridge front sight. Not to say anyone could have put the red ramp sight on it. If you look very close you will see the sight base is also pinned to the rib with the pins polished fulsh.
