Model 30-1 birth year?
Would someone be able to provide an approximate birth year for a Model 30-1 serial H9150? Thanks, Ron

I would estimate 1969-1970. Nice pistols, surprisingly accurate. With the right load is a viable CCW pistol.

H Richard, Thank you for your helpful response. This 30-1 is my CCW and is extremely accurate as you said. Thanks again, Ron

Great piece. I love mine and earlier versions on the I frames.
I'm in agreement with H. Richard's estimate. Does it have large diamonds around the grip screw?

The 30-1 has original grips, but they are not the diamond variety. Great little carry gun. Thanks, Ron

Ron,
That confirms it was made after 1968 and supports H. Richard's production year estimate.
